The "data management" platform supports the processing of epidemiological data from our cohort studies and related metadata. This starts with the data acquisition within the fieldwork with our study participants or from the laboratory.
Each data set passes through quality control, is marked with a uniquely identifying attribute, converted into a uniform data format and described by a standardized set of attributes (metadata). Subsequently, a description (distribution, frequency) is created for each data set, which allows a check of the plausibility of the data and generally describes the data.
Furthermore, the platform "data management" provides methods for data analysis as well as for screening of large amounts of data (e.g. in epigenetics).
