The Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research (UFZ) offers you widely varied tasks, strong teams and independent work. As a trainee at the UFZ, you have the opportunity to participate in youth and trainee representation (JAV) and promote the interests of trainees.
The primary goal of our occupational health management (BGM) at the UFZ is to promote and maintain the health and well-being of all employees.
Attractive training compensation: Our trainees receive an attractive training allowance in accordance with the public service collective agreement (TVAöD).
1. training year - € 1,218.26
2. training year - € 1,268.20
3. training year - € 1,314.02
4. training year - € 1,377.59
Trainees are also entitled to the following benefits:
- A special annual payment (paid out in November)
- A final bonus (in the amount of €400 on successfully passing the final exam)
- A supplement of €50.00 for teaching materials (allowance for capital-forming benefits)
The job ticket is a personal ticket and can be applied for by all persons who have a 12-month contract with the UFZ. The employer pays a supplement of €20.00 per month.
Work-Life-Balance stands for a balance between work and private life. For example, as an apprentice, under certain conditions you can be reimbursed by the UFZ for travel home to your family each month. Every trainee also has 30 days of vacation a year.
A company canteen on the grounds of the UFZ in Leipzig has a varied lunch offer for you every day from 11:30 to 14:00. Vegetarians and vegans also have a great selection to choose from.
