My PhD is part of the NutriBee project. Within this project it is my goal to develop a fast, effictive & inexpensive pollen analytical method for the determination of insect-pollinated food plants. As the previous methods for pollen analysis are too time-consuming and/or too expensive.
I was interested in working with bees even during my bachelor thesis. Which is why, I examined the mate choice for red mason bees in my bachelor thesis.
Moreover, I like to microscope. For that reason, I studied the pituitary cells of the clawed frog in my master thesis.
