Research Interests

Our research focuses on hormone-driven changes on the immune system during pregnancy. In particular, we are interested in endocrine effects on adaptive immune cells in healthy and pathological pregnancies. We also aim to investigate disorders of the endocrine system caused by environmental factors that affect the regulation of the immune system during pregnancy and consequently comprise the development of the child.
