Current Project

Currently, I am working as PhD student for SoilForEurope project, which aims to “determine the relationships between tree species diversity and soil biodiversity, and their consequences for ecosystem functioning across major European forest types”.

The project aims to determined the soil microbial structure in monocultures in comparison to tree species mixtures, and want to unravel how it influences ecosystem services. More precisely, my goal to decipher how shifts in soil microbial diversity related to tree species richness contribute to the enhanced multi-functionality that is actually mainly only attributed to plants and above ground related organisms.
