Since February 2018 Aleksandra has been working at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in the department of Effect-Directed Analysis as a technician. She is involved in the LVSPE-EVENT Project (development and evaluation of new sampling techniques for the on-site large volume solid-phase extraction of water resources). Furthermore, she is responsible for carrying out LVSPE experiments, SPE, LC-MS measurements and field work.

Aleksandra studied at Poznan University of Technology and at University of Medical Sciences in Poznan (Poland). She was a guest PhD student in the department of Environmental Biotechnology (UFZ - Leipzig) and a scholarship holder of the DBU Scholarship Exchange Programme. She finished her study with the PhD in chemistry on” A study of potential toxic effects of designed ionic liquids on bacterium Pseudomonas putida and embryos of the zebrafish (Danio rerio) as model organisms”.
