Muhammad Arslan Kamal Hashmi
Arslan is enrolled as a PhD student at the RWTH Aachen University. Since October 2014, he is doing his research work at the Department of Effect-Directed Analysis (EDA) at the Helmholtz Centre for Environmental Research in Leipzig. He is working on high resolution fractionation in combination of in vitro testing and sensitive chemical analysis to confirm cause-effect relationships with endocrine disruptors present in surface waters in the EU funded Project SOLUTIONS.
Arslan received his Master degree in Environmental Sciences: Pollution and Monitoring from the Brunel University West London, UK. His Master thesis was on “An assessment of endocrine disrupting potential of black liquor effluent from wheat straw pulp and paper manufacturing in Pakistan, using a lab-scale model”.
