Niklas started his apprenticeship as a lab assistant in 2017. He switched to the department Cell Toxicology in 2018, where his main tasks included cell culture with human and mammal cells and cell based reporter gene bioassays. Since his graduation in July 2020, his main tasks remain the bioassays, helping with the measurement of free effect concentration in assay medium (SPME) and helping to establish an extraction method of environment samples, medical substances and pollutants from human tissue.
