Current Research Interests

I am a PhD student with the MicAS group here at UFZ.

My research is focused on microbial ecology and bioinformatics, using biogas reactors to study anaerobic digestion.

My PhD is part of the FNR funded Hydrofoam project: investigating the chemical, biological, and ecological impacts of flexible feeding and foaming events on biogas reactors.

I am interested in ecology of extremeophiles, methanogenic communities, and applied microbiology in sustainable biotechnology.
