Research Interests
I want to develop and scale up a biorefinery process that will make current fossil-based chemical platforms obsolete.
To reach that goal I am particularly interested in
- mixotrophic microbial communities;
- bioreactor designs;
- biological carbon fixation with H2 and waste gases; and
- development of downstream processing strategies for extracting bio-based chemicals.
