Main research interests

  • Land-use change and its impacts on ecosystem services and -processes and biodiversity
  • Trade-off anlysis and spatially dependent optimization of ecosystem services (especially in the context of bioenergie use).
  • Integrated ecohydrologial modeling using SWAT
  • Modeling soil-carbon and nitrogen dynamics using CCB
