Bio ǀ Electrochemical CO2 conversion

The "Bio | Electrochemical CO2 Conversion" team is dedicated to advancing carbon capture and utilization (CCU) technologies. Through integrating biological and electrochemical processes, our goal is to develop efficient systems that convert CO2 into valuable products. Harnessing the power of electrocatalysts and microorganisms, we aim to create a sustainable solution that not only reduces carbon emissions but also produces valuable products. This interdisciplinary approach allows harnessing the best of both systems, utilizing electric energy and CO2 in order to create a broad portfolio of products, hence optimizing conversion rates and minimizing environmental impact.
