I am interested in studying and understanding the ecological consequences of Phage-Host interaction both on the pairs level (metabolic and Genetic landscape changes) and on the microbial community level. I am currently investigating the composition and the fate of cell lysis and how this may influence the Microbial Neighbors.
I am mainly involved in the following projects:
- AquaDiva - investigate the role of viruses on soil and groundwater microbial communities along Hainich transect (https://www.czen.org/content/hainich-czo)

- ARISTO: The European Industry - Academia Network for RevIsing and Advancing the Assessment of the Soil Microbial TOxicity of Pesticides
