Research interests

Humans are inhabited by hundreds of microbial species directly associated with many health conditions. My research aims to use bioinformatics and supercomputers to find out which microbes correlate with these health conditions opening potential revenue for novel medical treatments. We need a deeper understanding of human microbiomes influence in health and disease states. I will not only develop tools for the detection of dysbiosis using human microbiomes omics data, but also test it in a wide variety of human dysbiosis.
