Research Interests

I am an interdisciplinary ecologist at the interface between people, data and patterns in biodiversity research and conservation. My work revolves around biodiversity change in space and time, quantitative methods and participatory research. In my role as a coordinator within the NFDI4Biodiversity project, I collaborate with various stakeholders on the development of the “Living atlas of nature Germany” as a GBIF-hosted portal. I have a strong interest in art-science collaborations and I am inspired and nurtured by the science in silence.
