DFG Round Table: GeoLaB

Background and Scope

The Helmholtz Association is funding a new research infrastructure GeoLaB - the construction of an underground research laboratory in crystalline rock. We already want to start developing various research programmes for the future GeoLaB. After initial discussions with the DFG, the establishment of a Priority Research Programme (SPP) would be particularly suitable for dealing with aspects of basic research in a structured form. For the preparation of the SPP application, we have organized a DFG roundtable discussion  on 26-27.06.2023 in Leipzig (see venue map below).

Peter Bayer, Eleni Gerolymatou, Rebecca Harrington, Thomas Kohl, Olaf Kolditz, Thomas Nagel, Bastian Rudolph, Ingo Sass, Eva Schill, Virginia Toy
