The alliance ‘Together Against Sexism’ was initiated in 2020/2021 by the Federal Ministry for Family Affairs (BMFSFJ) and has since been coordinated by the European Academy for Women in Politics and Business (EAF Berlin). It offers a practical contribution to combating sexism in all contexts through network meetings, awareness-raising measures and practical tools. The declaration of principles ‘Together against Sexism and Sexual Harassment’ has since been signed by about 1000 state and non-state representatives.
Excerpt from the joint declaration: "Together against sexism and sexual harassment" :
We promote a culture and organisations in which sexism and sexualised violence against women and men have no place.
We see intervening against sexist behaviour and sexual harassment as a matter of course and a management task. We want to sensitise all those in positions of responsibility and involve them in initiatives. [...]
