Research interests

My primary research interests lie in insect ecology, with a particular emphasis on pollinators. I am especially interested in understanding how climatic, landscape, and land-use factors, as well as inter- and intraspecific interactions, influence pollinator populations. To gain deeper insights into these topics, I am also exploring the use of automated camera monitoring systems, based on computer vision and machine learning tools.
