We are interested in understanding how environmental chemicals drive the development of obesity and associated inflammation that promots insulin resistance. To decipher the underlying mechanisms, we use mass spectrometry-based proteomics in combined with cellular and molecular techniques. With our results, we aim to increase knowledge on environmental chemicals to improve risk assessment for a better protection of the human health and the environment.
