I am interested in the qualitative and quantitative assessment of thermophiles from aquifer sediments. Currently I am working with stable isotope probing - nanoSIMS (SIP-SIMS), trying to investigate the structure and metabolic activity of thermophilic endospore-forming bacteria in the sediments from High-Temperature Aquifer Thermal Energy Storage (HT-ATES).
