VAAM poster prize

Carolin Bertelmann and Adrian Tüllinghoff, members of the Applied Biocatalysis working group, headed by Prof. Bruno Bühler, were awarded a poster prize at this year's conference of the Association of General and Applied Microbiology (VAAM). A jury selected both posters for the presented outstanding research. Carolin Bertelmann investigates the hydroxylation of testosterone whole cells. Adrian Tüllinghoff developed a process to maximize biocatalysis in cyanobacteria on a laboratory scale. We congratulate both award winners.
