Research topic: Scaling of biochemical and hydraulic controls on nitrate uptake and removal in streams.

Research Experiences

  • December 2023 - July 2024: Master thesis at ASAM department, UFZThesis topic: Long-term inter-annual variation in nitrogen and phosphorus retention in a small agricultural stream based on dial concentrations pattern analysis.
  • Research Project: Triple interactions between nutrient availability, shoot competition, and root competition (both intra-genotypic) in two wheat cultivars.
    Experiment: ‘Automated Plant Phenotyping Platform,’ Leibniz Institute of Plant Genetics and Crop Plant Research (IPK, Gatersleben, Saxony-Anhalt).

 Research Interests

• Aquatic ecosystem analysis, hydrology, and water quality modeling.
• Agroecosystem focused on soil-plant interaction and remote sensing.
