Validation of climate adaptation potential for optimizing the functions of blue-green infrastructures in urban areas - ValiGrün

The ValiGrün project aims to measure the climate adaptation of building greenery based on representative parameters and to derive recommendations for action and optimization. To this end, a variety of measurement methods are being developed, adapted, and combined in their application. The applicability of these infrastructure measures is being demonstrated, evaluated, and validated using demonstration projects on selected existing green roofs and facade greening systems in research and practice. In addition, an integrative transfer and training concept is being developed together with the project partners.
