Research Interests

My primary research interest is in the fields of molecular microbiology, viral genomics, genome editing, and Bioinformatics. Also, I am interested in investigating how we can use CRISPR to enhance and combat human viral infections. On the other side, I am interested in exploring CRISPR regions in uncultivated marine viruses using metagenomes.
