Research interests
Exploring the potential of non-cultivable microorganisms remains a challenging endeavor. My study attempts to find bacteria with bio-remediation potentials and build or enhance culture conditions for their growth using bioinformatics and genome scale metabolic reconstructions. I will not only develop culture media, but will also attempt to automate the process of designing media using this strategy so that other scientists can do the same.
