Experiment description

In 1978 the experiment on SH 4 and SH 5 was modified by Prof. Dr. Martin Körschens. This section is now called the Extended Static Fertilization Experiment Bad Lauchstädt. SH 4 no longer receives manure while all plots on SH 5 receive 30 t/ha manure every 2 years. The 5-step mineral N fertilization functions as a further test factor. The 90 plots per field strip are 5.5 m x 10 m in size. Since 2013, only the 5 N levels of the variants 1, 6, 7, 12, 13 and 18 have been applied on both SHs. In order to be able to compare the two field strips, the same crop has been grown on SH 4 and 5 since 1979.
