The department People & Culture is the central point of contact for questions relating to personnel strategy, personnel administration, personnel development and corporate culture.The department is divided into the following teams according to the areas of responsibility. Personnel ServiceThe Personnel Service team comprises the recruitment process and the personnel support of all UFZ staff. Furthermore, the personnel support also includes all guests, interns, students and HIWIs from the thematic areas and administrative units. The Personnel Service Unit team is responsible for contractual matters and issues regarding personnel management and personnel law. The areas of training and dual studies are also anchored here.
The Employee Development team offers personal and professional qualification opportunities as well as career planning, conflict resolution and team development.
Diversity & InclusionThe Diversity & Inclusion team accompanies the development and implementation of the diversity strategy and also includes the International Office and the Family Office.
Graduate School HIGRADE & Statistics ServiceThe Graduate School HIGRADE offers support and network structures as well as various funding opportunities for doctoral researchers. It also provides consultations on questions of scientific statistics.
Accounting & Controlling
The Accounting & Controlling team is the right contact point for questions relating to current payroll accounting, communication with authorities, and the creation and analysis of key personnel figures and personnel control mechanisms.
