Abstract Zusammenfassung
Die subfossile Chironomidenfauna des Schulzensees bei Peetsch im südlichen Mecklenburg-Vorpommern wurde bestimmt und die Trophieentwicklung anhand der Zönose rekonstruiert. Der See wird seit der Älteren Dryas von Chironomiden besiedelt. Er ist zunächst entsprechend seiner glazialen Entstehung bis etwa zum Ende des Atlantikums als oligotroph einzustufen. Im weiteren Verlauf kommt es zu einem Anstieg des Nährstoffgehaltes mit vermutlich zunehmend schlechterer Sauerstoffversorgung des Profundals. Ab Mitte des Subatlantikums zeigt ein deutlicher Umbruch der Zönose eine steigende Eutrophierung des Gewässers an.
Summary
The chironomid remains of Lake Schulzensee near by Peetsch in the south of Mecklenburg-Vorpommern were analyzed and the developement of the trophic state reconstructed. The lake is inhabited by chironomids since the Older Dryas. After deglaciation, the lake can bis classified as oligotrophic until the end of Atlantic. Since the onset of the Subboreal, the nutrient content has been continually increasing, resulting in a decreasing oxygen supply of the profundal zone. At the middle of the Subatlantic a distinct change of the chironomid fauna indicates an increase eutrophication of the lake.
