Abstract | Gloydius strauchi is a venomous pit viper, which is known from Sichuan, Eastern Xizang, Qinghai, Ningxia, and Shaanxi provinces. Here I report a new, genetically verified record of G. strauchi from a high-altitude area of Dêgê County, Garzê Tibetan Autonomous Prefecture, Sichuan Province, and provide information on a mild envenomation case of that species’ bite. |
