| Abstract | Im vorliegenden Beitrag werden nach einer kurzen Einführung zum
Weltbiodiversitätsrat (IPBES) dessen wesentliche Aktivitäten bezüglich
der Trends von Insekten vorgestellt. Dies erfolgt anhand der
Kernaussagen des Bestäubungs-Assessments, das 2016 abgeschlossen wurde.
Der Fokus liegt hierbei auf den Bestandsentwicklungen von Bestäubern,
den Ursachen für die oft negativen Trends und insbesondere den
Handlungsoptionen, die aus dem Assessment als Ergebnis der Arbeit von
etwa 100 Autorinnen und Autoren resultierten. After a brief introduction to the Intergovernmental Science-Policy Platform on Biodiversity and Ecosystem Services (IPBES), this paper presents its main activities in the context of insect trends. This is based on the key results of the pollination assessment which was completed in 2016. The focus is on trends of pollinators, the reasons for mostly negative trends and in particular the options to counteract those trends, which were elaborated by a team of some 100 authors. |
