| Abstract | The innovative knowledge and easily accessible end-user material resulting from OPTAIN was fed into the websites of the ‘European Innovation Partnership for Agricultural Productivity and Sustainability’ (EIP-AGRI) and the EU CAP Network to ensure widespread dissemination. This end-user material includes summaries for practitioners in the EIP common format (‘practice abstracts’), including project characteristics (e.g. contact details of partners, etc.). A full package of practice abstracts has been be produced by OPTAIN, containing important outcomes and recommendations that are ready for practice. A practice abstract is a short summary that describes the main information/recommendation that can be useful to end-users in their daily practice. The total target number of practice abstracts for the project was 12. Seven of these were delivered as a first batch within deliverable D7.8. Topics considered include (1) details of specific Natural/Small Water Retention Measures (NSWRM) that can be used to support water and nutrient retention and management in agricultural catchments, and (2) policy recommendations for improved implementation of NSWRM. This deliverable D7.9 is an update of deliverable D7.8 and provides a second batch of practice abstracts. The second batch of submissions provides practical details on six additional NSWRM and the spatial targeting of retention measures. |
