| Abstract | Solidarische Landwirtschaft bietet eine vielversprechende Alternative
zum industrialisierten Agrar- und Ernährungssystem und gewinnt zunehmend
an Bedeutung und Verbreitung. Gleichwohl hemmen Umstellungsbarrieren
ihre Ausbreitung unter landwirtschaftlichen Betrieben. Wie unsere
Untersuchung zeigt, können Systemdienstleister diese Barrieren durch
Bildung, Vernetzung, Lobbyarbeit und finanzielle Förderung abbauen. The current food system, focused on industrialization and growth, is facing multiple crises and requires comprehensive transformation. Community-Supported Agriculture (CSA) offers a promising approach to addressing some of these challenges. Despite being recognized as a best-practice model in key agricultural development strategies, CSA has received little political support. A central barrier is the lack of readiness and opportunity among traditional actors, especially conventional farms. To overcome these challenges, systematic promotion by innovation service providers (ISP) is required. This paper systematically identifies innovation barriers that farmers encounter when transitioning to CSA and outlines strategic actions for ISPs to facilitate this process. The transition from conventional farming to CSA is hindered by motivational (e. g., prejudices against CSA, value conflicts), knowledge (e. g., insecurities about specific CSA practices) and resource-related (e. g., insufficient financial or personel resources) barriers. ISPs can address these barriers through, among others, information events, farmer exchanges, positive lobbying, showcasing best practices, and providing financial support. |
