Prof Dr-Ing Daniela Thrän

She is an engineer for technical environmental protection and Head of the Department of System Analysis and Sustainability Assessment at the UFZ in Leipzig. She holds the chair for Bioenergy Systems at the University of Leipzig. She is the speaker of the Integrated Platform “Social Transformations towards Sustainability” in the Helmholtz research program “Terrestrial Environment”. Daniela Thrän has been a member of the Federal Government's Bioeconomy Council since September 2012. She is coordinator of the accompanying research for the "Biomass Energy Use" funding program of the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy (BMWI) and Head of Scientific Accompanying Research in the "BegleitDiP".
