Project duration: 2017-2019

Outline and main goals

The objectives of the project are to analyze the challenges that IPBES faces with respect to

  1. the broad and inclusive participation of diverse scientific disciplines and other stakeholders in its activities and
  2. the mutual exchange of knowledge between different IPBES activities, mainly with focus on the Global Assessment.
With this, we aim to contribute to close scientific gaps in understanding global environmental assessments with respect to the involvement of stakeholders in their work. The project will also directly inform the IPBES evaluation process.
