The UFZ Family Support Office guides you in balancing care work and paid work. You receive information and individual advice on maternity protection, parental leave and benefits, childcare, schooling, and holiday programs. The Family Support Office also provides orientation on caring for relatives and the use of (family) care leave. Line Managers are given tools and guidance to implement family-friendly solutions.

The International Office advises and supports international employees and guests as well as their families with regard to entry visas and residence permits for Germany and provides guidance on the associated formalities. The focus is on creating a welcoming culture and the integration of our international guests. To this objective, information is provided via the website and guidelines to facilitate the start in Germany and at the UFZ sites. Thanks to long-standing partnerships with the immigration authorities, bureaucratic processes can be accelerated and simplified.

The Statistics Support assists scientists with statistical questions and challenges related to their research projects.
