Research Interests
Mbuyi Moloi is the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation Postdoctoral Fellow. As a Visiting Scientist at the UFZ, his research focuses on the quantification and effects of plastic leachates on the aquatic organisms. He applies simplified leaching methods to recycled consumer plastics and assesses the effects of the leachates using model organisms such as Daphnia magna.
