Abstract | As general framework, the overriding assumptions and points of view on which the subsequent balancing processes and assessments are based are described below. One crucial factor taken into account when compiling these was that the central focus of the funding programme is on optimising the use of biomass for energy production (above all else, the technical elements) with the objective of Germany playing a major role in climate protection contribution, and that the assessment of energy, economical and environmental factors is to cover this point of view. |
