About me

I studied Forestry at Universidad de Chile, Santiago. I am currently a doctoral student at the Hemholtz Centre for Environmental Research, Leipzig. My doctoral thesis focuses on temperate rainforests of Chile and their functioning under climate change (carbon and water balance, dynamics, structural and compositional changes). My main research interests are forest dynamics, impacts of global change on forests, dendrochronology and ecological modelling.
