9th - 11th May 2022

Dear colleagues, dear ‘Biofilmers’

It is our great pleasure to invite you all to the beautiful city of Leipzig, Germany, for the upcoming Biofilms10 conference, which will take place from 9th – 11th May 2022. This is the 10th meeting of the series, which was initiated by Prof. Hans-Curt Flemming in Vienna in 2004. The conference is renowned for its broad, non-clinical scope, and has brought together biofilm researchers from all over the world ever since.

A key focus of Biofilms 10 will be on the role biofilms play in the environment and biofilm applications but also on tool development for biofilm investigation as well as biofilm modelling. We are also planning a special session on emerging fields in biofilm research.

After nearly 2 years of pandemic restrictions we are looking forward to welcome you all in person here in Leipzig!
