About the project

This research reviews a group of highly cited and randomly sampled ecology papers collected from Ecology Letters from its first issue to the present and examines the increase, or lack there of, of advocacy in general ecology research. A sentiment analysis using an ecology lexicon dictionary will examine if there is a shift in time regarding advocacy
