Florian Schunck

Florian Schunck joined our Team in 2019, to research the effect of pesticides on aquatic invertebrates. He focuses on the effect of pesticides in combination with multiple environmental stressors. On the basis of dose-effect analyses in rigidly controlled lab-microcosms, he is developing multiagent models to predict the effect of low dose pesticide concentrations on aquatic life.

Florian received his master's degree at Martin-Luther University in Halle-Wittenberg in 2019 where he focused on nutrient and carbon cycles in soils. He also completed a college of natural sciences in 2019 where he specialized on network models of human society to research collapse and resilience of human populations.
