Research Interests
- Understanding how environmental factors, such as chemicals and polluters, can disrupt immune homeostasis, thereby inducing chronic inflammation, autoimmunity, and allergy
- Development of advanced co-culture models of human trophoblast and immune cells to approach the effect of Endocrine-Disrupting Chemicals (EDCs)
- Modelling how exposure to EDCs modulates the immune response as a key mechanism for the onset of inflammatory and metabolic diseases
