What I do

I'm a passionate data scientist who focuses on Big Data Analytics, Classical & Distributed Machine Learning, and Deep Learning, with a strong commitment to uncovering valuable information. I carry on a significant history of research and over a decade of practical involvement. Currently, I'm applying my expertise in data analysis and machine learning to address business challenges at UFZ through advanced analytical methods. My ultimate goal is to play a key part in developing cutting- edge data analysis techniques and strategies that enable organizations to make informed decisions based on data.

As part of the work at the UFZ, I am involved in the CLIMOS, Climate Monitoring and Decision Support Framework for Sand Fly-borne Diseases Detection and Mitigation, project, which to make a model to predict the population of sandlies. This model would be used on the early warning system.
