Photo: UFZ The UFZ teaching lab in Leipzig gives pupils from extended secondary schools and grammar schools (class 9 and above) as well as vocational students and pupils of vocational grammar schools the opportunity to gain insights into the modern world of environmental research and to conduct some of the current experiments for themselves. In a modern laboratory with the best equipment, pupils can find out what it means to work scientifically and to think in interdisciplinary dimensions.

The maximum capacity is 16 pupils. Experiment times are between 9 am and 4 pm (or by appointment). Experiment days are on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.

The teaching lab is also open for training sessions to students, trainee teachers and teachers.
