Biological stoichiometry of nutrient limitation in ecology and evolution

Montag, 17. Mai 2021, 16.00 Uhr
Brückstraße 3a, 39114 Magdeburg, Seminarraum

Biological stoichiometry is the study of the balance of energy and multiple chemical elements in living systems. This talk will introduce some of the basic principles of stoichiometric theory and apply them to understanding the occurrence and impact of nutrient limitation in ecological and evolutionary settings using examples from both aquatic and terrestrial ecosystems.
