Introducing the new Do-It logo!
We are thrilled to introduce the new logo for Do-it, inspired by the vibrant and dynamic nature of both our research and our community. This logo was specially designed for Do-It by fellow UFZ doctoral researcher, the talented Jonna Heuschele. The logo features the bee-eater, a small yet vividly colorful bird known for its remarkable specialization and community-oriented lifestyle.
The choice of the bee-eater, a species that lives socially year-round and is capable of adapting to changing environmental conditions, symbolizes our commitment to supporting the diverse challenges and endeavors of PhD students throughout their doctoral research. Like these agile birds, our group embodies the spirit of bridging diverse fields of study, enhancing our ability to tackle complex scientific questions. The bee-eater's ability to connect different habitats through its migratory nature reflects our goal to facilitate connections across various areas of expertise, fostering a supportive community that thrives on shared knowledge and collaboration.
We are excited to adopt this new emblem, which not only represents our dedication to advancing scientific knowledge but also celebrates the spirited and interconnected nature of our group.
