Working Group “Behaviour”
The working group “behaviour” looks at a broad range of interdisciplinary questions concerning the role of human behaviour in the context of environmental change. The group covers different thematic areas within UFZ and discusses both explanatory approaches to environmental behaviour (e.g. regarding influencing factors, trade-offs, or control) as well as interpretive approaches regarding the role of behavioural sciences, especially in the context of (environmental) policy making.
The working group has several aims: to build a basic understanding of different methodological and disciplinary approaches to the theme of environmental behaviour, to present research from both within UFZ and from other institutes, to enable discussions, and to find common research interests as well as possibilities for cooperation.
