Carbon Dynamics in Ocean Events
The Carbon Dynamics team is participating together with other MOSES members in the international project FUTURO (Future of Tropical Upwelling Regions in the Atlantic Ocean) under the leadership of GEOMAR, Prof. Arne Körtzinger. FUTURO is a multi-scale, year-round, co-designed and transdisciplinary concerted observational campaign that aims to develop a significantly improved system understanding and robust predictive capability for the future development of this coastal upwelling region, which is of extremely high socio-economic importance.
The FUTURO core campaign, which will launch in 2028, is currently being prepared.
