MOSES Data Management Plan Tool - Work in Progress
Data Management Plans (DMPs) are formal documents that outline how data are to be handled both during a research project, and after its completion. The goal of a DMP is to consider the many aspects of data management, metadata generation, data preservation, and analysis before the campaign begins.
The aim of the MOSES Data Management Plan Tool (DMP Tool) is to assist scientists in structured planning, implementation and administration of the data that will be obtained in MOSES campaigns. Additionally it provides a way to cast DMPs into textual forms to be attached to campaign task books or reports.
Our useful MOSES DMP Tool is based on the Research Data Management Organizer – RDMO provided by the German National Research Data Infrastructure NFDI. It supports research projects in the planning, implementation and administration of all research data management tasks.
SOON you can reach the tool here.
On the RDMO webpages you will find many helpful guides and answers to FAQs. However, to support your way to create a comprehensive data management plan for your campaign, we will provide a short instruction for the MOSES RDMO catalogue. For any questions feel free to contact us!
