MOSES Data Management Plan Tool

Data Management Plans (DMPs) are formal documents that outline how data are to be handled both during a research project, and after its completion. The goal of a DMP is to consider the many aspects of data management, metadata generation, data preservation, and analysis before the project begins. 

The aim of the MOSES Data Management Plan Tool (DMP Tool) is to assist scientists in structured planning, implementation and administration of the data obtained in MOSES campaigns. Additionally it provides a way to cast DMPs into textual forms to be attached to campaign task books or reports.

The MOSES Data Management Plan Tool is implemented by the data management team at the Helmholtz Centre Potsdam GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences and can be found here:
