How did you learn about the UFZ?

I have completed my M.Sc thesis from UFZ in the department of Aquatic Ecosystem Analysis(ASAM). Furthermore, I got the opportunity to start my doctoral journey with UFZ.

Why did you come to the UFZ?

Research opportunities, advanced facilities, collaborative environment, and, of course, UFZ is the best one in environmental research. These are the main reasons why I joined the UFZ family.

What do you like about the city you live in?

Magdeburg is quiet and calm compared to bigger cities like Berlin, where I was residing earlier.

How do you like it at the UFZ / in HIGRADE?

Excellent working environment, cooperative support from colleagues, and supportive supervision.

I also worked for other renowned research institutes in Germany, like ZALF and IPK. Thus, I bring diversity and research work experience with me to UFZ.

Hobbies

I like to travel and make friends from different cultures. Also, cooking my local dishes.
